LA County Supporting Assemblymember Bonta's Automated Expungement Bill AB 1793
Today, the LA County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a motion in support of Assemblymember Bonta's automated expungement Bill AB 1793.
We are very proud to support this motion by the board of Supervisors and to their continued commitment to repairing the harms of the War on Cannabis.
With the recent statewide movement towards automating expungements of cannabis based convictions, we are proud to have been a part in educating the Board of Supervisors on this important need for over 500,000 LA County residents. The expungement clinics Angeles Emeralds has held and supported have helped showcase this need, and the over necessity for responsible cannabis regulations in the most populace county in the nation.
We will continue to advocate and working with the county in promoting these efforts and more.
As you can see below, the county and Assemblymember Bontat continue to support us and this valiant effort.
Thank you Assemblymember Bonta, Supervisors Ridley-Thomas & Solis, and the entire LA County Board of Supervisors for your continued committed to social justice and responsible cannabis regulations.
