County Cannabis Tax For Homeless Services To Appear On November's Ballot
After several months of discussions with the LA County Board of Supervisors we are happy to announce that the Board, in particular Supervisor Ridley-Thomas' office has taken our recommendation to consider legalizing commercial cannabis and allowing the taxes to fund the effort to end the homelessness crisis.
In showcasing Aurora, Colorado and how they intend to use their cannabis tax dollars to help provide for the homeless, it seems that we've been able to promote the benefits of lifting the ban and allowing for commercial cannabis regulations.
We are proud of this step the Board has taken to explore regulating cannabis and allowing for safe access for LA County's residents.
