Just shortly after 8pm last night it was announce that Prop 64 would pass, legalizing adult use cannabis in the state of California.

For 22 years California has allowed for medical cannabis use, and now with the passing of Prop64 we can expect to have safe and regulated access for California residents who use it not just medicinally but also for responsible adult use.

For too many years the failed War on Cannabis has damaged and harmed so many individuals and their families.  At the stroke of midnight on November 9th, 2016 those who have previous cannabis convictions which cause massive barriers for them such as access to housing, employment, education and other supportive services can now apply to have their criminal records reduced or expunged.
